Fort Funston

Tom and Timber took me to Fort Funston in San Francisco last weekend (July 23rd) and let me run buck wild. It was really cool that there were so many dogs all over the place. I kept looking around and seeing more dogs. When we first got there they kept me on the leash and I was a bit nervous because I hadn't been around so many dogs since I was at the animal shelter. But once we started moving down the trail toward the beach Tom let me off the leash. I really enjoyed meeting dogs and people on the way down to the beach. I found this one black lab that I really liked a lot, but I don't think she liked me all that much. I was sniffing her and then all of a sudden she started to pee on my face! It was so disguisting! After I got peed on I ran around trying to get the pee off of my face. Once we got down to the beach Timber leashed me up and forced me to get into the water. I had never been in the ocean before. It was cold and the waves kept crashing into me. I was finally able to get out of the water and pull her up the beach with me. After that I was able to run up and down the beach with total freedom. I met a few dogs and their owners along the way. Even though I would get a bit ahead of Tom and Timber I would always look back and sometimes I would run back to them to see what they were doing. They sure did take a lot of photos that day. At any rate once we were all done I got rinsed off and then we left to have them find something to eat. My time at Fort Funston was a blast and I would highly recommend it to my dogs out there.
